  • What path led you to wealth management?

As an executive assistant, I didn’t necessarily choose wealth management. I do firmly believe that you should consider all aspects of your life to discover your financial and life goals. And I feel that working in wealth management aligns with my personal beliefs and helps me stay focused on my wealth goals.

  • What do you enjoy most about your role at TFO Phoenix?

Seeing what we come up with next. Sometimes we get ideas for projects that seem so large that it is inconceivable how the whole thing will come together. But in the end, things seem to turn out better than I could have imagined. As an example, the work we do with the younger generations of our client families. I think educating those generations is very important and we come up with creative ways to engage and educate.

  • What are some of your biggest influences?

Ernie Jones. He was the President of a small pension company and was my boss at my first office job. He was a great mentor. He passed away several years ago and the world is a bit smaller, quieter and less fun without him.

  • What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?

Put yourself in the other person’s shoes. There is more than one way to do things and allowing people to do things their own way can help you learn something.
