Family Tax Advisor

  • What path led you to wealth management?

The global financial crisis of 2007-2008 had a profound impact on me and my family. My father lost his job and our family had to make sacrifices to maintain our standard of living. I was made aware at a young age how wealth and financial planning can impact all facets of life, and how establishing a solid foundation can weather most storms. Through those experiences I developed an interest in wealth management and tax compliance.

  • Why did you join TFO Phoenix

TFO Phoenix embodies all the core principles I believe in. I believe that serving our clients is my highest calling, and through that service I can help empower families to succeed in connecting their wealth with purpose.

  • What has been your most rewarding career experience?

I feel the most rewarded when I help clients simplify their financial lives. I have had many opportunities to ease a client’s worries about their tax situation and the feeling I get out of that process is very satisfying.

  • What do you enjoy most about your role at TFO Phoenix?

My role allows me to learn and grow as a professional. TFO Phoenix has created a culture of freedom to pursue your interests and encourages employees to think outside the box to expand their knowledge.

  • Why should families connect wealth and purpose?

I believe purpose is the single most important idea a person can quantify. Purpose allows you to set and obtain goals. It allows you to measure success. When you connect your wealth with your purpose, you create a situation where success is likely more attainable.

  • What are some of your biggest influences?

Family is my biggest influence. I have incredible relationships with so many family members and I lean on them to help guide me through the tough decisions in life as well as celebrate the successes. I would not be the person I am today without them.

  • What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?

The most important lesson that I’ve learned in life is to treat everyone with kindness and respect. I try to approach every situation with a sense of consideration and kindness and I believe that allows me to better connect with people. I also believe showing gratitude is a good way to create positivity in your life.
