  • Why did you join TFO Phoenix?

When my husband and I made the decision to relocate to Phoenix (where I’m from originally), I wanted to take the opportunity to work directly with families to help support their financial futures. I was impressed by what I believed to be TFO’s sincere dedication to clients with its full-service offerings. I knew that I could pursue my career passions here.

  • What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

I have always been very goal-oriented, which has led to many successes in education and my professional career. While life can be full of uncertainties, I’m proud that my choices, hard work, and perseverance have provided a rewarding career path and a solid foundation for my family.

  • Why should families connect wealth and purpose?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to managing your wealth and financial future. Your family’s needs are entirely dependent on understanding and working towards your personal financial goals.

  • What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?

The best weekends are those spent with my family. My husband and I have the most wonderful one-year-old daughter, Charli, and two crazy rescue mutts, Dani and Dexter. We joke that between them, we have three alarm clocks; usually at least one goes off by 6:00 a.m. Our favorite weekends are spent exploring Arizona and watching football games.

  • What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?

I actively practice gratefulness, and consciously strive to keep all things in perspective. Every day, I take a moment to consider how appreciative I am for my husband and my daughter, and the many blessings in my life. Not every day can be a perfect day, but the practice of being grateful makes every day a bit brighter.

  • What are some of your biggest influences?

Without a doubt, my parents have had the most influence on who I am today. Although my mother has always had a demanding career, she’s always found time to cook us meals and help soothe my daughter in the middle of the night. We don’t know where she gets the energy, and our best guess is that she “runs off of love.” My dad has always been a steadfast heart in our family, never missing a childhood sports game and always at the ready to share joke and make your day better. From them, I’ve learned to value family first.

  • What path led you to wealth management?

When I was in high school, my mother showed me her accounts and investments to explain some financial concepts. Looking at those numbers, I had an overwhelming realization that I wasn’t just looking at accounts and spreadsheets; I was looking at her entire life. She worked tirelessly at her job to provide for our family, and her life story could be told through her choices of saving, investing, and spending. This intrigued me and led me to explore the world of wealth management.

  • What most excites you about your work?

I’m energized by learning about the families that we serve and building good relationships. Creating solid partnerships helps chart the course for navigating a financial world that is unique to each situation and often complex. I’m also motivated by the vibrant nature of the wealth management industry, which requires constant learning and growth.

  • What do you enjoy most about your role at TFO Phoenix?

I’m very fortunate to work with a passionate and motivated team that is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in their field of expertise. This challenges me every day to be the best version of myself, both personally and professionally.
