- Why did you join TFO Phoenix?
I wanted to work at an organization where everyone is focused on delivering the best possible experience and outcome for our clients. The integration of services and the depth of the TFO team I believe is a huge benefit for clients and colleagues.
- What path led you to wealth management?
From a young age I was fascinated with money, and its impact on people’s lives. I gravitated toward teaching, whether that was tutoring my classmates in math or giving golf lessons. Knowing that I helped someone with something challenging was very satisfying. Wealth management allows me to follow my passions by helping people better understand their financial situation and collaborating on issues that matter most to them.
- What most excites you about your work?
I like thinking through all the options available to a client and helping them choose the best course of action based on their unique circumstances and purpose for their wealth.
- What has been your most rewarding career experience?
I joined TFO Phoenix in 2022. For 18 years I had the privilege of serving an incredible group of clients in Seattle, including individuals, families, foundations, endowments, and non-profit organizations. Their stories, and respective purposes for their wealth, were inspiring. It was truly rewarding to play a part in their journey. I’m looking forward to building long-lasting relationships with the incredible clients at TFO Phoenix.

- What do you enjoy most about your role at TFO Phoenix?
The opportunity to make a difference in our clients’ lives by helping them connect their wealth with their purpose through their financial plans.
- What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
Raising three incredible (and very different!) kids.
- Why should families connect wealth and purpose?
Families should connect wealth and purpose because simply passing along the most money misses a great opportunity to have discussions about what matters the most and why. If you have a purpose, wealth can connect and strengthen families, not divide them. Money is a medium that can be used to improve family members’ lives and every person and organization that a family touches.
- What are some of your biggest influences?
My biggest influence is my mom. She has given me nonstop support and encouragement my entire life. She started her own very successful business when I was young to be able to be a part of everything my brothers and I did. She is not only my biggest influence in my professional career, but also in my everyday life.
- What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Spending time with my wife, our three kids and our little Cavachon. We are new to Arizona, and we love exploring our community and beyond on the weekends.
- What are some of your biggest influences?
My wife, for sure. She is brilliant and knows how to take the bull by the horns. And my parents. They are go-getters too. I’m so fortunate to have had my wife and parents’ guidance when I have needed it the most.
- What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
Focus on what you can control. Play to your strengths. Follow your instincts. Make everyone around you better. If you do the right thing, good things will come.
