What path led you to wealth management?
I started out in a traditional public accounting firm doing tax work. The opportunity to be a part of a financial planning team and use my tax knowledge to help families achieve their wealth goals brought me to wealth management.

Why did you join TFO Phoenix?
I joined TFO Phoenix because it was a great opportunity to develop my tax accounting and client service skills. There are many opportunities to solve complex tax problems and learn from great, smart people.

What most excites you about your work?
What excites me about work is developing good relationships with co-workers and clients. Developing those relationships not only makes work more fun and rewarding but also results in better service to our clients.

What has been your most rewarding career experience?
My most rewarding career experience has been being part of team that provided quality tax service to multiple generations of a large family. Knowing we helped the family build and keep multi-generational wealth was very rewarding.

What do you enjoy most about your role at TFO Phoenix?
I enjoy being part of a team that provides integrated wealth planning and management to our clients. I am able to use my tax knowledge to provide value to our clients and support the overall financial planning process.

Why should families connect wealth and purpose?
Wealth only has value when it is a vehicle to achieve purpose in your life. Connecting wealth and purpose allows families to ensure that their wealth is used to achieve their life goals and brings their family happiness.

What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
I like to be outdoors, whether that be hiking, golfing or hanging out at the pool with friends. When the weather gets too hot, I will be inside reading, playing with my dog or watching sports with family and friends.

What are some of your biggest influences?
My parents because they taught me how to live life the right way and work hard.

What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
The most important lesson I learned is that life is short and to appreciate the little things.
