Why did you join TFO Phoenix?
I had heard about the company from a former co-worker and after reading about the various awards the company has earned and other great media articles, I felt that TFO would be a great fit for me. Additionally, TFO’s team mindset and focus on encouraging employee growth were two principles that I was really looking for from an employer.
What most excites you about your work?
I am most excited about working for a company that has passion for not just their clients but also for the company’s future and their employees. Having a collaborative atmosphere with my colleagues encourages me to succeed in my role.
What has been your most rewarding career experience?
My most rewarding career experience has been providing customer service for the various companies that I have worked for. Not only has it been rewarding to help the clients, but I have learned a lot about life in general from people sharing their own experiences with me even if it’s just restaurants, events, or travel ideas!
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
My relationships with my family and friends. When I was younger, I took for granted that family and friends would always be around for me, but I realized during a very stressful time in my life, that was not necessarily true. I also realized that I needed to be there for others more. I have worked hard at making sure that the people who are most important to me know I am there for them, no matter what.
Why should families connect wealth and purpose?
Building and retaining your family’s wealth takes hard work and preparation. Communicating your vision and purpose with your family will help promote unified core values and practices. Money doesn’t always mean happiness for families, but wealth can give families more options to potentially have a better quality of life now and for future generations.
What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, traveling, reading, and gaming. I would like to spend my weekends traveling or entertaining, but most often I’m running errands and cleaning my house!
What are some of your biggest influences?
My parents were my biggest influence. They taught me to appreciate my family and, despite their own financial woes growing up, proved that you can have success if you work hard and spend wisely. They provided me with never-ending love and support, and I strive every day to do the same for my family.
What are the most important lessons you’ve learned in life?
To appreciate all that I have and to keep actively pursuing my own happiness; you never know how much time on earth you will get, so live, and laugh!
